Whether she’s guessing who’s behind the mask on The Masked Singer or reuniting people on Long Lost Family, we can’t get enough of Davina McCall. Or to be more specific, we can’t get enough of her glowing skin. Which is why, when our Style Editor got the chance to chat beauty with the television legend, the first thing we asked was what her go-to product is for achieving her lit-from-within glow.
Her answer? Garnier’s brand new Vitamin C Fresh Bright Hydrating Sorbet Cream, an affordable vitamin C moisturiser that’s already generating buzz thanks to the likes of Mrs Hinch, who is also a huge fan.
Garnier Vitamin C Fresh Bright Sorbet Cream with Niacinamide

GarnierPrice: £7.15 (was £7.50)View offer Stop the press! Weve found the ultimate summer face cream, and Davina McCall and Mrs Hinch are fans of it, too. Garniers brand new sorbet cream offers all of the benefits of a traditional moisturiser, but without any of the greasiness or residue that is often left behind. The unique, sorbet-like texture is seriously lightweight but provides all of the hydrating goodness youd expect from any other cream - it really is the perfect summer skincare step.

Davina tells us, ‘I’m a vitamin C girl. I think being a bit older, I like this idea of the glow, and you really get that from the vitamin C in the cream.’
‘When I first got it, I thought, “why is it called sorbet?” But when I tried it, it made so much sense. It is so lightweight but packs a punch in terms of moisturising – I’ve never felt anything like it!’ says Davina, ‘there is no stickiness and no residue. I really do like the texture…it feels like a modern take on the moisturisers that we’ve used for so long’.
After testing the Garnier Vitamin C Fresh Bright Hydrating Sorbet Cream ourselves, we can confirm it delivers on hydration without heaviness. The formula feels cooling, absorbs quickly and leaves skin looking fresh, dewy and brighter.
The non-greasy sorbet cream is packed with a whopping 4% vitamin C, which doesn’t sound like much, but in beauty terms is pretty potent, along with skin-smoothing niacinamide. This means that the zesty cream will help to brighten skin, even your skin tone and fight against the signs of ageing. And if that wasn’t enough, it is cruelty-free and vegan too.
The best bit? It costs less than a tenner. ‘It is so affordable’ says Davina, ‘that’s why I love Garnier. They’re so committed to being better for the world and being affordable… and it actually works!’.
Davina isnt the only celeb who swears by high-street skincare products for their glass-like glow. Molly-Mae swears by a bargain face mask, while Michelle Keegan opts for an £9 cream, proving that you dont need to spend big to look radiant.
