　　The AirPods and AirPods Pro are among the most recognizable wireless earbuds on the market today, both using Bluetooth technology to connect to their audio source. If you're an Apple user, knowing how to pair AirPods with your other devices is as simple as holding them nearby.

　　Instead of having to manually pair and unpair your AirPods from various devices (as most other headphones brands require you to do), you simply need to be signed into your Apple ID and accept the pop-up request to pair on your other Apple devices. This will enable you to switch seamlessly between audio sources so you can listen to the same playlist on your MacBook and your Apple Watch without missing a beat.

　　Before you start: Make sure you've installed the latest operating system (OS) upgrade by checking Settings > Software Update on your devices. AirPods may have issues pairing with devices using an old OS.Whether you're just setting up your earbuds or you're pairing them with a new device, the steps on how to pair AirPods are simple and can be done in just a few minutes — and the instructions are the same regardless of what AirPods model or generation you're using. 　　How to Pair AirPods for the First Time

　　If this is the first time you're pairing AirPods to any device, whether it's an Apple product or not, this is how to do it.

　　Turn on the Bluetooth setting on your device.

　　Open the lid of the charging case and make sure both AirPods are inside.Hold the setup button on the back of your AirPods case until you see a flashing white light.In your device's Bluetooth menu, select your AirPods when they pop up, then click "Connect."Note that if this device is an Apple product, your AirPods will now automatically request to pair with any nearby devices that are linked to the same Apple ID. You can unpair them (instructions at the end) if you don't want to use your AirPods with a certain device.
