　　Jade Holland Cooper knows a thing or two about standout style, so who better to cast an eye over the fashion on display at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show? The founder of British luxury label Holland Cooper has dressed everyone from Claire Balding to Mary Berry, Alexandra Burke and Leonora Smee, and says the show has become one of the most stylish fixtures of the social calendar.

　　The brand trajectory has been incredible, she says. Leonora Smee, Claire Balding, Mary Berry, Alexandra Burke all look fantastic wearing Jade Holland Cooper. It’s wonderful to see Mary give a talk at our lunch in our dress and it’s for all ages. She’s an inspiration to us all. She’s 91 and her schedule is crazy. She shows up, she looks great, she’s got the energy. The key to life is don’t stop working!

Dresses with trainers looks good too because you also have to be practical at Chelsea as there’s a lot of walking around. Everyone’s made an effort, the floral references look great and there’s lots of colour.

　　©Holland Cooper As for her own styling advice for navigating the grounds in style? Layer up! Wear thermal leggings and a vest under your outfit if you’re worried about being cold. Get comfortable footwear. Our wedge espadrilles can be worn all day and they give you that height. Go for colour – I love bright yellow this season.

　　And if she could choose one dream guest to dress for the flower show? I’d love to dress Monty Don – he’s a gardening pin-up. Everyone’s obsessed with him. He’s another legend. His presence, his voice… he’s the David Attenborough of gardening.
