As a beauty writer, I can safely say few things get the skincare community more excited than a No7 launch (although I’ve also got a soft spot for the brand’s makeup). The brand has been deeply invested in peptide science for nearly two decades, from the debut of Protect Perfect in 2007 to the more recent, sell-out Future Renew range launched almost two years ago.
So when No7’s new Prime Forever skincare range landed on my desk, my interest was instantly piqued.

©Closer / Phoebe Denman Everything you need to know about No7s new Prime Forever range In a clinical study involving more than 22,000 participants, No7 found that visible ageing can speed up by as much as 50% from our 30s onwards. This insight prompted the brand to develop a collection of five skincare formulas designed to help slow that process and support the complexion.
The Prime Forever range takes a three-pronged approach to helping preserve skin, focusing on antioxidants, peptides and UVA protection as its core defence. The range uses an antioxidant complex featuring vitamin C, vitamin E and lipochroman (a potent molecule that helps protect against skin ageing), alongside camellia leaf and myrtle leaf, both naturally rich in protective antioxidants. Test results showed this blend can boost the skin’s antioxidant capacity within 30 minutes, with the Prime Forever Serum found to reduce oxidative stress by seven times. The product line also features No7’s own “super peptide blend” technology, which the brand says is a world first.
Keen to put these claims to the test, I swapped out my usual skincare routine for No7’s Prime Forever range. Keep reading to follow my progress.
No7 Prime Forever review: What to buy and what to skip 1. No7 Prime Forever Transformative Gel-Oil-Milk Cleanser

No7Price: £19.95www.boots.com
View offer The lineup begins with the No7 Prime Forever Cleanser, which starts as a soft gel that transforms into a nourishing oil to effortlessly lift away daily dirt and grime, before rinsing off as a silky, smooth milk. Priced at £19.95 for 150ml, this cleanser is said to prepare skin to tackle the impact of accelerated ageing factors to help preserve skins visible prime. For me, even though the whole range leaves my skin looking glowing and hydrated, this is the product that really stands out.
I usually steer clear of anything described as oily, thanks to my spot-prone skin that can flare up at the mere mention of it, so I fully expected this cleanser to cause issues. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case at all.
Alongside the antioxidant complex included in the entire range, the added niacinamide gives it an extra edge, helping to leave skin looking healthier. It’s easily one of the standout buys in the range.
2. No7 Prime Forever Weightless Moisturiser

No7Price: £37.95www.boots.com
View offer The Weightless Moisturiser promises up to 100 hours of hydration, while also helping to reduce skin ageing activity within minutes. No7 also says it’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive complexions. Before getting into the actives, I have to say the texture is spot on. Not runny, not heavy, just perfectly balanced so it layers effortlessly under SPF and makeup and sinks in quickly. It’s packed with peptides - and I really mean packed. With No7’s trademark Glaciology complex combining exclusive peptides and rice peptides to support elastin and collagen, plus an antioxidant blend to help defend against free radical damage.
It helps keep skin more hydrated, brighter and less prone to long-term wear-and-tear. Pretty good, right?
3. No7 Prime Forever Serum

No7Price: £37.95www.boots.com
View offer The Prime Forever serum has a beautifully lightweight texture, so much so that I did initially wonder whether it might not be hydrating enough (especially for nighttime use) but it’s impressively quenching and leaves skin feeling really refreshed. It has a beautiful texture - a running theme with this range - and left my skin looking and feeling hydrated and bouncy. It also layers seamlessly with the moisturiser, and when I tested it under makeup there wasn’t a hint of pilling.
Two pumps is the perfect amount for my whole face, so I can see the tube lasting for months, and even from the first use my skin looked noticeably more radiant. The fragrance is also pleasant, with notes of floral, green, water, violet, musky.
4. No7 Prime Forever SPF50 Primer

no7Price: £24.95www.boots.com
View offer The SPF primer has a light, fluid consistency that feels like a weightless, milky moisturiser. It takes seconds to blend in and leaves a subtle radiance without any added shininess, even in my perpetually oily T-zone. Once applied, it creates a silky base, and there was no pilling or greasiness when layering makeup on top, which is essential for everyday wear.
A little goes a long way, which is much needed in this economy. It’s been a saviour for dryness, giving my skin a bright, healthy glow that looks radiant rather than oily. I’ve been dealing with some dryness and breakouts lately, and this serum has left my skin feeling noticeably more supple, plump and refreshed.
5. No7 Prime Forever Reusable Silicone Under Eye Patches

No7Price: £17.95www.boots.com
View offer If I had to skip one product in the lineup, it would probably be this one. The fact that these silicone versions are reusable is undeniably clever. You simply place them under your eyes to help your serum or moisturiser absorb more effectively, while boosting hydration and helping to depuff. While they feel lovely to use, I can’t say they make a huge difference to how the products underneath perform.
