Intelligent tracking solar maximum power point

   Pioneered by the over-discharge protection of the rechargeable battery, it can be recharged intelligently (no manual activation required every day)

1. It is a full-featured true MPPT charging controller, which can be powered by solar panels or DC voltage sources with a voltage range of 6V to 80V. 2. Charge 1.3V to 80V lead-acid batteries or lithium batteries. 3. The power stage can be easily configured by selecting four MOSFETs and one inductor, so that the charger can work normally with VIN above, below, or equal to the battery voltage. 4. This device integrates all necessary functional parts and has built-in battery charging algorithm and MPPT control circuit.

True MPPT maximum power point tracking

  When the solar panel is used for power operation, the driver chip keeps the panel voltage at the maximum power point of the panel.      Even with partial shadowing, when more than one local maximum power point occurs (an effect of the bypass diode inside the solar panel), the driver chip can detect and track the true maximum power point.           When the entire panel is illuminated, the maximum power point (200W) appears at 25V. With partial shading, the available power at a 25 V panel voltage drops to 50 W, at which point the new true maximum power point (128 W) appears at 16 V.       The driver chip finds that the true MPP is at 16 V / 128 W, so it can get an additional 65 W from the solar panel.       The device does this by periodically measuring the full power curve of the panel and determining the location of the true maximum power peak at which the operation is performed.        The charging power drawn from solar panels has more than tripled, and this increase may be even greater in other shading situations.
