1.On Grid System/ grid-tied solar power system 

How does it work?

All of the electricity generated from the wind turbine or solar panel shall be transmitted to the grid network directly. And the power consumed by the loads shall be supplied by the grid. For this solution, it's not technically feasible to realize that the electricity from wind turbine or solar panel supply to the loads first, and the extra power will be transmitted to the grid system then. There shall be a bi-directional electric meter installed in the system to record the power which the system output to the grid and the power which the grid supplies to the loads

2. Off Grid System / Off Grid System with Grid Power 

How does it work?

Off-grid system is mainly used for with relatively-small power consumption, and the areas have no gird network coverage. The wind generator and solar panels can form a system separately or together. This system needs a battery bank to store the electricity. And all the loads shall rely on the battery bank for power supply.

How does it work?

Off-grid system with grid power bypass is mainly used for areas where there is grid network coverage but the grid power is unstable and electricity charge is high. This system also needs a battery bank to store the electricity. But the power supply can have two sources, battery bank and the grid. The battery bank shall supply the power as a priority, but when the battery electricity is not enough, the grid power shall make a supplement. The system can switch to the grid power automatically in case of battery electricity inadequacy.
