Principle:
A flat-plate solar collector heats the coolant via a plate absorber. Absorbed rays heat up the coolant under the absorber, which, in turn, is transferred further into the system. Absorber heat insulation from the collector frame and tempered glass that is almost free of iron oxides are used to minimize the heat loss.
