Paraffin waxes are separated from crude oil during the production of light (distillate) lubricating oils. These semi refined paraffin waxes are categorized by oil content and the degree of refinement. The crudest versions fall into the slack wax category and contain between 5% to 20% oil. Next on the step of refinement are scale waxes containing between 1% to 5% oil. The highest grade of refinement is the fully refined wax. Fully refined paraffin waxes contain less then 0.5% oil and have been hydrotreated or clay treated to remove impurities and color. The resulting waxes are water clear, odor free, and normally food grade.
Application:
1.Candle production, such as moulding, impregnation, stretching, extrusion/pressing.
2.Components and packaging materials of food, oral medicines and certain commodities such as wax paper, crayons, candles and duplicate paper.
3.Polishing to improve polishing ability, provide solvent bonding and solvent retention performance.
4.Apply directly on the surface of fruits to keep them fresh.
5.Insulation of electrical components to improve aging resistance and flexibility of rubber.
6.Rubber and plastics as release agents, plasticizers and lubricants in rubber mixtures.
7.Cosmetics and pharmacies are used as basic ingredients in various formulations.
8.Hot Melt Adhesive as a Cost Competitive Mixed Component.
9.Processing agents, raw materials and components in chemical industry.
10.Can also be used to oxidize to synthesize fatty acids.
Semi Refined Paraffin Wax can be used in candle making, high-frequency porcelain, carbon paper, stylus stencil, precision casting, decorative acoustic board and other products.
Fully Refined Paraffin Wax is usually used as telecommunications equipment and short circuit and light industry,chemical raw materials.
