Instructions | ||
1 | Set the output voltage: According to the float voltage value of the battery you want to charge, or the voltage value of the LED after series or parallel connection, adjust the constant voltage potentiometer (CV), and set the output voltage to the required voltage. (Without load)
2 | Set the lamp current indication: after setting the output voltage, turn the CC potentiometer counterclockwise about 20 turns, use a multimeter to short-circuit the 20A current output, adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need to turn the lamp, and then adjust the turn Turn on the electric potentiometer until it just lights up green.
3 | Set the constant current value: After adjusting the lamp current, the 20A current range of the multimeter is still short-circuited. (The direct wire output with voltage and ammeter can be short-circuited) Adjust the CC potentiometer to the current value you need to set. (When the output current is set by the short-circuit method, the actual charging current will be smaller than the short-circuit setting current. The battery should have a residual voltage. If you want to set an accurate charging current, use a discharged battery to connect to the output Then set the output current.)
4 | Note: When the constant current is set, the voltage should be higher than 1.25V, otherwise the constant current function will be invalid. |
Set the MPPT voltage value
A. The method of setting with adjustable regulated power supply: adjust the adjustable regulated power supply to the voltage value to be set (such as 18V), the output is not connected to the load, and the MPPT is adjusted counterclockwise when the module has an output voltage Just set the potentiometer to the critical point where the output voltage just drops. B. Method of direct setting with solar panel: input directly connect with solar panel, set output voltage according to load, block part of light shining on solar panel, output connect with load. The multimeter measures the output voltage of the solar panel (cut to the input voltage display with a voltmeter), and adjusts the MPPT potentiometer until the solar panel voltage reaches the maximum power point voltage. (The actual maximum power point voltage of the solar panel will be lower than the nominal voltage, such as the 18V solar panel, the maximum power point will be around 17.5V,) You can also adjust the MPPT value by measuring the output current, string the multimeter current file between the output and the load (with the meter can switch to the current display), to recall the MPPT potentiometer to the output current to the maximum value. Note: When the solar panel directly adjusts the MPPT value, when the power emitted by the solar panel is greater than the load power, please block some of the light shining on the solar panel to reduce the power of the solar panel, so that the MPPT value can be adjusted.
Applications:
1. It can support high-power LED.
2. It can power supply for electronic devices.
3. For a variety of battery charge, can observe the state of charge.
4. As a car power supply , it can for your cell phone or digital products supply.
5. DIY a voltage Regulator, with constant current function, Short-circuit proof, can protect the load.
6. Charger for all kinds of batteries, with MPPT function, can enhance the charging current to double. With a constant current and prevents battery overcharge, effective protection of the battery.
