Red resist is a liquid coating that is painted on chinaware to cover areas where you DO NOT want color to be applied. It is often used to block out areas that will remain undecorated while doing decorations around this area. Apply with a dedicated brush and allow to dry. Paint around the blocked out area and then peel off the resist coating before firing in the kiln. It is useful to block out areas when grounding, etching, tinting or applying gold. Made in Germany.
