I was 12 years old when I first became an auntie, and since then, I’ve welcomed three more little nieces throughout the years. It’s not exactly cheap being an aunt to four girls—especially during holidays—and with such vastly different ages, they’re usually never interested in the same things at the same times (although everyone seems to want a belt bag from Lululemon’s spring collection!).
The oldest is 19, the youngest is 6, and in between, there’s a middle schooler who likes soccer and baking competition shows and a high school freshman who’s either reading a romance novel or secretly texting a crush. Being an aunt to four girls in just about every age bracket there is, it’s not like I can copy and paste the same Easter basket for each kid. They’re all at different points in their lives; not even the 14- and 19-year-old are in agreement of the best Easter gifts for teens… and they’re both teens!
Personalizing four kids’ Easter baskets makes prepping for the holiday even trickier, but I’ve been doing it for so long now, I’ve pretty much got it down pat. Plus, I’m a professional shopping writer, so buying gifts and knowing who’s going to like what is both my job and my auntie super power.

Buy on Amazon One thing everyone agrees on? Lip gloss. A hybrid between a gloss and a stick, these adorable, bunny-eared gloss bars provide maximum shine and just a hint of pigment for an overall natural look that’s slightly elevated. A three-pack is $24, but you can also buy individual flavors for $8 each, in strawberry, grape, apple, cherry, peach, or orange. Packed with vitamin E that both softens and hydrates, I’ll be placing a few of these gloss bars in each kids’ basket because the youngest will feel included and because it’s more of a gloss, the level of pigment is more age-appropriate than maybe lipstick.
Buy on Amazon Perfect for younger girls and middle schoolers who enjoy crafting, this DIY craft sparks creativity and encourages kids to practice their art skills. While my youngest niece may actually play with the Squishies after they’re painted (the 11-year-old, not so much), this hands-on gift-turned-activity taps into both of their imaginations and gives them something to do together. Each kit comes with four paint colors, glitter glue, two paint brushes, and stickers.
Buy on Amazon This hilarious card game is a favorite in my house, even among friends, but I recently taught it to a few of my nieces and they had a ball. It’s recommended for ages 8+, but we even had the 6-year-old playing and laughing along. The ultimate game of memorization, you not only have to remember to say “Taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza!” in the correct order, but you also have to do the right commands that coordinate with each card—before everyone else does them, too.
Buy on Amazon Someone is also begging to take a trip to the nail salon, but Easter is the perfect time to give the gift of press-ons. Not only are they cheaper than a mani/pedi these days, but Glamnetics has some of the highest quality nail kits I’ve ever seen. They’re fun for kids and great for adults, too, as they’re extremely easy to put on and they stay on for up to two weeks. I’m currently obsessed with this blueberry milk nail polish color for spring that’s super “in” right now, but Glamnetics’ Spring Collection includes other pastel designs, too.
Buy on Amazon Weirdly, what they can all agree on is Squishmallows—yes, even the 19-year-old. I mean, I get it—they’re cute and super, super comfy, so it has nothing to do with playtime. They’re extremely soft and plush, and they just so happen to be shamelessly adorable, no matter how old you are. I’ve seen the girls take them on long car trips, flights, and to sleepovers. Right now, you can grab the bunny Easter plush in blue, gray, or purple.
Buy on Amazon I learned during the last holiday, that everyone loves Laneige. Not just us, the adults, but kids, too. There’s something about a glowy lip balm with name recognition on TikTok that everyone from the 6-year-old to the 19-year-old can get on board with. It locks in moisture, adds a layer of sheen, and strongly smells of peaches, so what’s not to love? Plus, there’s absolutely no pigment—only scent and gloss—so it’s age-appropriate for the whole pack.
Buy on Amazon When you’re old (like me), you use eye masks to liven up your sad, tired under-eye area, but when you’re young, eye masks are just plain fun! Thanks to TikTok, all of my nieces are very into skincare—no matter their age—and these well-rated vegan ones from Grace + Stella are gel-like, sparkly, and cool to the touch. Sure, they’ll “remove” puffy eyes, dark circles, and wrinkles, but the kids don’t have to worry about that part. They’re cruelty-free, make great fun at sleepovers, and they’re a best-seller with more than 14,689 five-star reviews. Note: Because it’s skincare, I’ll be running this one by their mom for those under 18.
Buy on Amazon This adorable six-pack of accessories takes the average claw clip and gives it a cute, floral upgrade that looks great on anyone, age aside. Each clip is 2.95 by 2.95 by 1.58 inches and fits all ages and hair types, from thick to fine. It’s the perfect springtime accessory for pulling your hair back while adding a pop of pastel to your outfit.
Buy on Amazon Whether she’s in her journaling era or could use a little color-coded organization for schoolwork, pastel highlighters and pens definitely upgrade the experience. Each marker comes in eight aesthetically pleasing pastel shades that make it easy (and cute!) to color-code your work, highlight reading passages, and doodle in a diary. They have a twistable design similar to a pencil eyeliner, and you can sharpen it to a finer tip if you intend on creating or drawing in more detail. Best of all though, these markers don’t fade, smear over other fresh ink, or dry out—even if they’re left uncapped. They’re, for all intents and purposes, kid-proof!
Buy on Amazon Move over all other reusable drink cups. My nieces love the aesthetics of other popular water bottle brands, but once they check out the Owala FreeSip, I know they’ll realize and appreciate its superiority because this one doesn’t leak. At all. It has a special spout and cover that’s leak-proof—plus, with this style in particular, it requires you to push a button to pop it open, giving it an extra layer of anti-leaking protection. Available in a bunch of bright and punchy color combos, this insulated cup carries up to 16 ounces of your preferred beverage, and can even keep it ice cold for up to 24 hours. It’s perfect for school, soccer practice, work, and whatever else they’re up to.
Buy on Amazon We’re a big Uno family. Between the colors and the numbers, it’s universal, and even when the girls were at their youngest, they could still keep up and play. Uno Flip makes the beloved game just a pinch more complicated—in a way every age group can enjoy—by adding a second set of colors and numbers on the flip side of each card. When you play a “flip” card, everyone turns their cards around and finds themselves with an entirely new hand: new colors, new numbers and you’re basically playing a completely different round.
Buy on Amazon What my 19-year-old niece and my 6-year-old niece will be storing in their matching Abiudeng Large Makeup Bags will undoubtedly be very different, but all four girls will get good use out of this. At 9.4 by 7 by 5.5 inches, it’s jumbo-sized, has two interior pockets, and a separate bottom layer, so it can store a lot of makeup, makeup brushes, and skincare products. I also love that the exterior is made of waterproof leather, which means it’s perfect for bringing swimming goggles and gear to pool parties, or snacks and sunscreen to soccer.
Buy on Amazon Apparently it’s not just us adults that are obsessed with belt bags; kids seem to love ‘em, too. This $12 Amazon option in a bright, springy blue hue is the perfect Easter basket stuffer for kids that love the style and convenience of designer belt bags. It has multiple interior pockets for organizing all of their stuff—phone, money, school IDs, hand sanitizer, pens, lip gloss, sunglasses etc.—into compartments, and it also has one exterior pocket on the backside as well. It’s also made from waterproof nylon, which means it can take on swimming lessons, a rainy soccer practice, the high school hallways, or a Starbucks run.
Buy on Amazon For little nail salon-goers who haven’t graduated to acrylics or gel polish manicures quite yet, this Essie nail polish duo in bold spring colors will get them excited to paint each other’s nails at home. Each formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and made without some of the most common toxins. The set includes two vivid, customer-loved Essie colors that give off Y2K vibes: Bikini So Teeny (blue) and Swoon in the Lagoon (magenta). Both are perfect to kick off spring, but to also wear well into the summertime, too.
Buy on Amazon I know for a fact that this is what both the 11-year-old and 14-year-old want most from their Easter basket wishlists. This snap-on snack tray is the ultimate water bottle accessory and it fits onto the 30-ounce Stanley (though it’s available in the 40-ounce size, too). It has four food compartments for holding all their favorite snacks, whether that’s Easter candy, potato chips, popcorn, or small fruits like grapes and berries. Is it necessary? Probably not, but it is adorable, hilarious, and great for family movie nights, so I’m willing to indulge them in their most highly coveted item. Plus, it’s only $7.
Buy on Amazon This newly debuted paperback is for my reader! With a newfound passion for reading two to three romance books per week, my 14-year-old niece has been most recently obsessed with this Laura Nowlin sequel to “If He Had Been With Me.” Both YA novels blew up on “BookTok” (that’s the book-lover’s corner of TikTok, in case you didn’t know), which is how my niece first found out about the series. As the writer/reader of my family, I love to encourage her new hobby, of course, so I will be happily reading alongside her as she delves into the latest installment.
