This refractory peep hole plug is used to go into the "peep hole" in the kiln when you want to limit the amount of fresh air going into the kiln or the amount of heat leaving the kiln. Just place the plug in place and remove when suitable. Make sure you wear gloves to remove it as it will get very hot.
