Product Description

The Coated steel tube is a key component for Fresnel solar thermal power station and solar parabolic trough collector, it is a solar selective absorption coating product that can be applied to medium and high temperature (300 ~ 350 ℃) air.

The coating absorbs sunlight to heat the heat transfer working medium inside the steel pipe, and drives the turbine to operate through the heat conversion of the working medium, so the performance of the selective absorption coating plays a crucial role in the performance of the whole product.

The main indexes for evaluating the performance of the coating are the absorption ratio, emission ratio and stability of the coating.

Our Advantages

Our coated steel absorber tubes have been passed tests of the China National Solar Energy Testing Center and Germany Fraunhofer Research Institute respectively. As tested, its absorptance is greater than 95% and its emittance is less then 7% at 300 ℃.

The greatest advantage of the coating is its long-term stability and hardly-decreasing efficiency at medium- high temperature (300~350℃) condition in the air. Test curve of coated steel tube by Germany Fraunhofer ISC:

In 2008, the test data of Germany Frauchofer ISC: at 300℃ in the air, after nearly 1500hours, the absorption and emission properties had no change; the absoption ratio was 95%(AM 1.5) and the emission ratio 8%(300℃).

Application

As the core component of solar thermal power generation, coated steel tube can be used in Fresnel Power Station, Trough Power Station and solar air conditioning system.

At present,  our coated steel tubes have been sold to Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Brazil, Australia, India and other countries.
